Food City 500 @ Bristol

What a killer race! All 43 cars finished the race. That's awesome. Am I happy about Denny's finish?! Oh hell no!! Is anyone happy when their guy's winning with 2 laps to go and just can't finish the job? I sure hope not. I paced like a mad woman during the caution. My fingers are killing me from crossing them so tightly. It didn't matter what I prayed...the car wouldn't pick up fuel and Denny finished 6th. Yes, a top 10 is fabulous. Being 15th in points after race 5 is a good start. Moving up is always better than falling backwards. I'll take a Top 10 anyday. Will I take it over a win? NOT ON YOUR LIFE. In case there was any question, I am mad as a hornet that D Ham didn't win. He had it..the car to beat, the speed, the checkered. And it all went to you know where in a New York minute.

I was shaking after that race was over. I had not nice things to say about Jeff Burton, his wife and kids and I like Jeff Burton. I was not happy and it will take this week off to get over it. I'm not the least bit sad that Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart got tangled up after Denny passed them. I'm in a foul mood and right now I'm gonna be like Darrell Waltrip...speechless. Poor man was dealing with some larengytis and I feel sorry for him. So I'm gonna take a page outta his book and just shut up. You know how I feel so why keep it going? Until I calm down...I'm out!
