In on speed

Raced their way in

Out of race

NOTES:

On lap 44, #88-Earnhardt Jr. had a front right tire go down and made an unscheduled pitstop and lost a lap, then on lap 45, #5-Martin and #83-Vickers came down to pit for tire problems, both losing a lap. #39-Newman came in to pit with a tire going down on lap 13, was gonna lose a lap until the caution came out

Cautions:

1) Lap 15 - #08-Said looks like he lost a tire and turn right, into the wall, #82-Speed had no palce to go and has front end damage. Said's only hope to make it into the race is for #78-Smith and #28-Kvapil to race in so Said can fall back on his qualifying speed

2) Lap 48 - #39-Newman dropped down to get past a slower car and #00-Reutimann got into the #39 and turned the #39, Newman went head first into the wall and slid to the infield, he is ok. Earnhardt Jr. got the lucky dog.

Good showing by Denny! He's a good drafter, but sometimes the other drivers "hand him out to dry," or whatever it is they call that in announcer lingo. I hope this is a showing of good things to come!!!
