It's a good thing I can type this blog and I don't have to talk because my voice is g-o-n-e. I have screamed until I can barely squeak. I have cried, my fingers are numb from having them crossed so long, I prayed for hours and somehow my Denny won! If I could think of something to say I am sure it would fall short of how awesome this really is. You follow a driver through poles, wins, crashes, lost laps, crappy pit stops and that stupid fuel pick up problem he had in Atlanta and just think it's another day at the job. Then he wins and you don't think it's enough. You haven't suffered at all because it's just simply amazing to watch your driver in Victory Lane, showered in Champagne and darn it...you're not there to hug him. You want to and if he knew what you went through watching him get there he'd want to hug you too. There would be no words, just that look...you know the one. The one that says "we did it" and "I'm exhausted, I need a nap!" I will recover from that drama for a week. By the time the checkered flew I was wet from crying, numb, sick to my stomach, sweating like a you know what in church and shaking like a leaf in a hurricane. I was wiped out and proud as I could be. Denny...you are the man! Fed Ex Racing....EVERY day IS race day! Congratulations to the most awesome driver in NASCAR! I love you D Ham

What a great home state win for Denny. You have to love it wen a plan comes together and the fuel pump keeps on pumpin' at the end of a race!
Congratulations Denny!
Great blog Becca!
